THE Radio DUMPSTER
The place where old Radio programmes go to die.

The Late Night Adventures Of Simon And Miles
Hutch debuted as a lead actor and pioneered a new movement called "brooding hamminess". This series played for six months on George FM. Simon was originally played by Te Radar before he was killed off and replaced by Scott Wills.

The Cab Ride To Destiny
A daily comedy serial that played on the Localworks stations until Roger Clamp wisely decided to axe it. In this episode we tried to cash in on the 'Lord of the Rings' fever that was around at the time. Listen to Holts superb Gollum voice.

Between The Lines
A simple music vignette that never made it to air. The main reason being that most broadcasters baulked at Holt's voice-over at the beginning. This was our first radio project so we foolishly spent weeks producing these vignettes before getting funding. We never got the funding.

Newsline
Thedownlowconcept attempt to produce a bog-standard news comedy pilot and surprisingly ends up not even being of a fit standard for any bog let alone commercial radio station.

Wake Up With A Chubby
Hilarious title. Get it? These originally featured the three of us acting out scripts. We then pitch shifted our voices to make us sound "fat". It was so bad that on listening back it was immediately deleted from the computer. We are an equal opportunity employer and so hired a cripple to play the part of Tuck Chubby. This series never made it to air.

Bellamy's
Riding a wave of belief in our abilities as political satirists we developed a radio series set in Bellamy's. These pilots were made for National Radio but never made it to air.

MAPS
A show pitched to the network with Jarrod as a co-host. It started losing traction from the minute the TV exec said that he spoke too fast. The prop was on a street map - clever.

The Salmon K Kune Kids Radio Show
Jarrod's hopes of becoming a children's radio presenter were dashed when this show was turned down by the network. What were they thinking, two guys and a pig in the studio - it had ratings winner written all over it
Action News
A pilot that was so bad that Jarrod destroyed all evidence of it. In a nutshell the boys went to Waihi and set up a fake news story that there was a gold rush in the hills. The plan fell apart when they saw the fully operational gold mine. Perhaps the lamest three minutes of audio ever committed to tape.
